You should have figured out by now that two of Blake's favorite things are 1) dressing up and 2) pretending to be some sort of defender - think knight, 3 musketeer, superhero, pirate, etc. For a long time Blake was a little confused about "knights IN shining armor" and thought they were two separate things. I think we have finally gotten past that, but I couldn't help writing it! The boys both got knight costumes for Christmas and here are some pics of them showing them off. They go nicely with the wooden swords and shields we got for them at the Renaissance Festival this past fall. After a few times of wearing it, Luke has pretty much busted all the seams in his costume. I swear it said 2T-3T, but cheap polyester doesn't hold up well to his curves.

I thinks these kids increase the owner of all medieval Knight Armor Costumes warriors who saw their bravery.
